I took my Honda Nighthawk 450, that I named “Panther”, on the highway for the first time on a ride to a doctor’s appointment in Toronto. This was also my first time on the highway this season. Highway 401 is one of the busiest highways in North America and I try to avoid it as much as I can. But today, I would be late for my appointment unless I take it. Got cut off by a vehicle because I was in its blind spot.
I also give my condolences to a fallen rider in Toronto. He was involved in a single vehicle accident. He was only 28 and also had a younger passenger who survived but is in hospital. My condolences go out to the surviving family members.
In the end, even though the CB450SC felt a lot more awkward to handle for me, I felt a lot safer on the highway on it compared to my CBR250.
