Here is a refresher video for how to start a motorcycle with carburetors. The first acronym we learn in our motorcycle safety course are the letters F.I.N.E.-C. or FINE-C which stands for:
- F – FUEL
- I – IGNITION
- N – NEUTRAL
- E – ENGINE CUTOFF
- C – CHOKE/CLUTCH
The same process can be used on motorbikes with fuel injection with minor changes. The process takes seconds to do but will help alleviate potential problems such as running out of fuel shortly into your ride, or a bike that jumps away at start up.
