Take a seat behind the dash of my newly purchased 1983 Honda Nighthawk CB450SC as I go for a short test ride. My unscientific test includes twisting the throttle at different levels from 25% to wide open full throttle. I found that at low speeds, I experience hesitation, and when I release the throttle, it backfires. However, from 50% to full throttle, there is no hesitation, and from 3rd to top gear, it runs smoothly. It sounds like a dirty carburetor, but let me know what you think in the comments section. Thanks for watching. Recorded using my Liquid Image EGO action camera with GoPro mounting kit.
