The 2018 Triumph Street Triple R is a street fighter style motorcycle that is an upgrade to its predecessor. This came in 3 different models: the S which is the base model, the RS which is the top model. This is the R model which is in between those two and from what I’ve read so far, it has almost the same performance as the last generation RS.

This is also the Low Ride Height or LRH model which has a lower ride height and comes with its own specific suspension and seating configuration. Not that you can’t ride tall bikes, because I’ve had taller bikes before and they were fine. I’m just more comfortable with bikes having lower seat heights. I’m not a very tall person so this seat height of 780mm or almost 31 inches inspires a little more confidence in me. Now for the rest of the dimensions, the handlebars are 29 inches, its overall height without the mirrors is 43 inches, a 56 inch wheel base, a 24.9” rake, and a 3.9” trail. Its dry weight is 166 kg or about 366 lbs, and the tank capacity is 4.6 gallons or 17.4 liters.

This is my first Street Triple, and actually my first Triumph for that matter. I bought this at the end of the 2021 season just before I sold my Yamaha MT-07 and Suzuki M50.

Enjoy the video and ride safe!
